How Long Does it Take to Learn Reiki?
- Level I (Beginner): This level focuses on self-healing and basic principles of Reiki. It can usually be completed in one day of intensive training.
- Level II (Practitioner): This next stage includes learning to practice Reiki on others and can also be completed over a weekend. At this level, you learn specific symbols and techniques for distance healing. Level I and Level II are most often taught back to back over a weekend.
- Level III (Master/Teacher): Becoming a Reiki Master involves more extensive training and a deep commitment to the practice. Individuals seeking this level have typically been practicing Reiki for a minimum of six months. True mastery of Reiki varies for each individual and often requires additional months or even years as it prepares you to teach and initiate others into Reiki.
Each level builds upon the previous one, allowing practitioners to deepen their understanding and effectiveness of the practice.
